Flood Preparedness Planner - Climate Initiatives at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is recruiting for a seasoned planner with expertise working alongside Alaska Native communities impacted by flooding. This new position will foster community relationships to co-develop, maintain, implement, and exercise flood preparedness plans with rural and remote Alaska Native communities. Duties include the development, management, and implementation of a flood preparedness planning program incorporating our expertise in community planning and risk analysis alongside community members and leadership. They will partner with the Emergency Preparedness Program in ANTHCs department of Community Environment and Health as well as other scientific, engineering and emergency management professionals in Alaska, across the country and across the Arctic.
