Where to Get Equity and Sustainability Credits

It’s that time of year again – you log into your AICP certification maintenance log to see how many credits you need in the upcoming year. Sure, you can attend a conference here or there to get more general credits, and most conferences regularly offer ethics or law sessions, but what about the newer categories for equity and sustainability and resilience? You’ve tried the CM search tool but aren’t getting the results you were looking for. Search no more – here is a link to APA Learn courses for all the mandatory CM credit categories.

Cost is $20 per credit for APA members and courses are online so you can plug in at your leisure. If online learning isn’t for you or you struggle to find sessions relevant to western planning issues, consider writing an article for Western Planner – authors can claim up to 8 CM credits per year!
