The Western Planner has organizational participants designated by the WPR Board of Directors. A participating organization may be any organization that promotes community and regional planning in the West, demonstrates an active interest in WPR programs and publications, and is recognized by the Board of Directors.
The purposes of organizational participation are to insure representation of regional ideas among the Board of Directors; to provide for close communication among planners and planning organizations; to obtain appointments to the Board of Directors; and, to solicit ongoing support for activities of WPR. There are no dues for participating organizations.

Sustaining Organizations
Sustaining organizations provide their members with a subscription to WP as part of their membership dues. Members of the Sustaining organizations below do not need to subscribe individually to the WP. Contact your state representative if you are not receiving the journal.

- North Dakota Planning Association
- Planning Association of Washington (PAW)
- Wyoming Planning Association (WYOPASS)
Affiliate Organizations
Affiliate Organizations support the WP by promoting the journal to their members. Affiliate Chapter members need to subscribe to the WP on their own, and receive a reduced rate of $30 per year on their WP subscription. Affiliate members are listed below.

Participating
A Participating Organization supports the WP by promoting the journal, the annual conferences, and assisting monetarily when possible. The Western Central Chapter APA (WCC) supports the WP with an annual donation and by serving as the AICP CM Credit provider when needed.

Subscribing to The Western Planner is easy! We encourage you to subscribe to the journal through your state association, but we have other options available. They are as follows:
State Association Subscriptions
The Western Planner encourages you to subscribe to the journal through your state planning association.
If you are a member of one of these 13 state associations: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming, you are eligible to subscribe through your state association and receive a break on your subscription rate.
