Western Planning Resources, Inc. is a non profit firm representing sixteen planning chapters.

The member organizations fall within three categories: Sustaining, Affiliate, and Contributing.

A Sustaining organization is one in which all members of the organization are required to subscribe to the Western Planner Journal. The organization pays for its members subscription costs as a whole (usually through organizational dues, or other means chosen by the organization).

An Affiliate organization is one in which its members have the option to subscribe to the Western Planner Journal, but are not required to do so. An affiliate organization may choose to pay for the subscription costs its members who subscribe to the Western Planner Journal as a whole, or have its members pay their own subscription costs individually.

The Western Central Chapter of APA is a contributing organization.

The presidents of each of those chapters and their conference schedules are listed below.

Alaska Chapter of APA
John McPherson of HDR in Anchorage is president and his office phone is 907-274-2000. The chapter has a conference in conjunction w/ AML in the fall and has a winter training session in Anchorage every February.

Arizona Chapter of APA
Jill Herberg-Kusy of DMB Associates is President. Her phone is 480-367-7322. The 2007 chapter conference will be in Glendale November 7-9.

Colorado Chapter of APA
Dale Case of Boulder County is the president. His phone is 303-441-3930. Conferences are generally held in September or October.

North Dakota Planning Association
Joel Quanbeck is president. His phone is 701-280-8579. Conferences are held in the fall around November.

South Dakota Chapter of APA
Sam Trebilcock of the City of Sioux Falls is the president. His number is 605-367-8890. Conferences are also held in the fall.

Idaho Chapter of APA
Patricia Nilsson is the president. Her number is 208-384-3842. Conferences are generally held in September.

Montana Association of Planners
Candi Beaudry of the City of Billings is the MAP President. Conferences are usually held in September or October.

Western Central Chapter of APA
Andrew Epple of the City of Bozeman is the president.

Nevada Chapter of APA
Adrian Freund of Reno is the president. His number is 775-328-3606. Conferences are generally in October or November.

New Mexico Chapter of APA
Chris Hyer is president. His number is 505-924-3927. Conferences are held in September or October.

Oregon Chapter of APA
Philip Farrington is president. His phone number is 541-686-3828.

Utah Chapter of APA
John Janson of West Valley is the president. His number is 801-963-3277. Conferences are in the spring and the fall.

Planning Association of Washington
Chris Parsons is the president. The number is 509-886-3265.

Washington APA
Steve Butler of the City of SeaTac serves as the WA - APA President. Conferences are usually held in the fall and the 2007conference will be in Tacoma October 3-5.

WYOPASS (Wyoming)
Mark Reid of Sheridan is the president. There's a spring worksession and an August conference.
