Professional Development | 2010 Conference Booklet | 2009 Conference | 2008 Conference

logoThe 2010 Western Planner Conference was hosted by the Planning Association of Washington (PAW) in beautiful Vancouver, Washington, August 10-13, 2010. Vancouver is located on the north bank of the Columbia River directly across from Portland, Oregon.  The Conference was held at the Red Lion Hotel, Vancouver at the Quay, which overlooks the Columbia River.

The Conference, themed Lasting Legacies and Living Landscapes, examined and addressed both long-standing and emerging planning issues in a diverse range of breakout sessions, and was enriched by several mobile tours.  The four Conference Tracks were Lasting Legacies, Transportation, Living Landscapes, and Tools of the Trade: Plans and Implementation.  The Conference registration fee was $250 and mobile tours were $25 extra.

Special thanks to the PAW Conference Committee and Brian Frampton who worked especially hard to make sure the conference events went smoothly.
